Tomato Season Program Outline
- Seed or Seedling Stage

- Vegetative Stage

- Insect Management
- Scout for aphids, whiteflies and thrips. Use selective insecticides to protect beneficials. For chewing pests, choose products with different modes of action to slow resistance.
- Nematode Control
- Root knot nematode stunts plants and reduces yield. Apply a nematicide at planting or through drip. Biofertilizers with nematode-suppressing microbes can be part of the program.
