What Chlorfenapyr Is and How It Works
Chlorfenapyr belongs to the pyrrole class of chemistry. It's a pro-insecticide, so it needs metabolic activation inside the target pest to become toxic. The activated form disrupts energy production in mitochondria, which stops the pest from making ATP.
This mode of action is different from many common insecticide groups, so chlorfenapyr is often used in rotation programs. It controls both insects and mites. You'll see it in vegetables, fruit trees, and field crops. It works mainly by contact and ingestion, and it's not systemic.

CHICO supplies chlorfenapyr as suspension concentrate, or SC. You'll find it as a solo chlorfenapyr 24 SC and as a co-formulation with chlorantraniliprole 10% plus chlorfenapyr 20% SC. Both are liquid formulations designed for dilution in water.
Before tank mixing, check the physical compatibility of your products. Use a jar test with the actual rates and water you'll spray. Don't mix with strongly alkaline materials.
