What Lufenuron Is
Lufenuron belongs to the benzoylurea chemical class. It acts as an insect growth regulator, not a contact knockdown insecticide. It interferes with chitin synthesis, so larvae stop developing and die at the next molt.
You won't see instant kill. It's slow acting because it disrupts growth, not the nervous system. This makes it useful in programs where you need to break the pest life cycle. It's often paired with a fast-acting insecticide like chlorantraniliprole.
